As I sit here once again with the rain falling down on this October day flipping through recent photos and came across this mailbox in a Rv design!...I realized I haven't posted anything about our Grand Adventure!!
At this time of year many couples are packing their RV's, getting ready to head south for the winter months. We Canadians call them Snow Birds! We are not yet in that stage in our lives, as the kids are in high school or in the last year of elementary school. One day that extra freedom will come!
I have posted before wishing to tell our RV story on the road for four months with the kids ten years ago 2004...So I am going to make a commitment that every Friday there will be a new post about this life changing experience!

Part 2
March 2nd,2004
...We had made it to Cosmopolis, Washington last and stayed at Walter's sister's place...Tuesday morning, Jessica is napping and Theo should be eating his breakfast. Walter has gone inside to make his coffee, in the house. We are suppose to go to Wal-Mart this morning, I forgot to pack Jessica's extra baby wipes. Shopping done, now we are off...we left A berdeen, Washington on a sunny day on the 101 towards Astoria, Oregon.

It was interesting crossing the bridge which connects the two states Washington and Oregon. I took photos of the landscape which is created by the ever changing tidal flow!
We stopped off in Wheeler, Oregon to make dinner, a fancy dinner...pancakes! We then drove to Tillamook, Oregon to find a place to spend the night. Tomorrow we hope to see the Sea Lions caves just north of Florence. We also want to see the Sand Dunes just north of North Bend. I hope I have a better sleep because my throat is sore and I am losing my voice!
As a Wife and Mother my role never changes even when you become...SICK! Especially in tight confinements of our Rv, life and responsibilities still exist. We made do with our situation and kept on going!
